P&D Automatización designs and manufactures electrical panels certified under the IEC 61439 standard. The certification process begins with the design phase. In the technical office, specialized engineers design the panels taking into account the various aspects that comprise the IEC 61439 standard: switchgear, wiring, panel heating limits, busbars and creepage distances, among others.

STANDARD
Once the design verification is completed
The panels are assembled in our workshop in strict compliance with the standard manufacturing procedures.
Once the manufacturing is completed
Each panel is tested according to the different sections of the standard. P&D Automatización has the necessary equipment to perform this type of tests with total guarantee in its own facilities.
Once it is designed and tested
Once the design has been made and verified, and the enclosure has been manufactured, checked and tested, the corresponding IEC 61439 certificate is issued, according to the following categories:
- IEC 61439-2 Power switchgear and controlgear assemblies
- IEC 61439-3 For distribution boards
- IEC 61439-4 For assemblies for construction sites
- IEC 61439-5 Assemblies for power distribution in public networks
- IEC 61439-7 Assemblies for specific applications
Segregation or cubiculation of electrical panels
The IEC 61439 standard establishes the types of internal segregation of existing panels (forms) and leaves the selection of the type of the electrical panel construction form to be used to the customer’s convenience. The customer must select the type of segregation or shape desired in their electrical panels for reasons of availability, safety and functionality.
P&D Automatización manufactures panels with different levels of segregation:
- Form 2B
- Form 3A
- Form 3B
- Form 4A
- Form 4B
- Removable cubicles (Forms 3 and 4)
